MAKEUP ARTIST ROSIE NEYLE
Want to know what make up artists dream about? basically marissa cooper in her chanel dress at prom. fashion director alejandra garran chats with beloved make up artist rosie neyle on EVERYTHING FROM her hero products, to her favourite celebrity looks to recreate
ALEJANDRA GARRAN:
Could you tell me about how makeup started for you?
ROSIE NEYLE: I've always loved painting, specifically portrait painting, as well as being mesmerized by beauty and makeup. One day I realised I could combine my two loves and call that a job, so I did.
AG: My first makeup memory involves lots of colorful eyeshadow. What is your first makeup memory?
RN: Body glitter from the Sabrina Secrets magazine subscription; you would get a free beauty product each time, I lived for that!
AG:
You love to recreate famous celebrity looks. What are some of your favourite red carpet looks?
RN:
Honestly I could probably write an essay on this haha. I love red carpet looks, they are everything. But if I had to give a few of my top ones, it would have to be Selena Gomez and her hot pink eyeshadow look created by Hung Vanngo at the 2017 Met Gala. Lily Aldridge with her glowy skin and perfect bitten red lip at this year's Oscars, created by Carolina Gonzalez.
Lastly because I could go on forever, I love the numerous looks makeup artist Jo Baker has created on Lucy Boynton, the inspiration behind her looks is so inspiring.

High Waisted jeans, a baggy t-shirt and Birkenstocks.
